Our table

Vira means faith.

Vira is what brings people to one table — where conversations, memories, new ideas and friendships are born. It is trust: in our guests, in our craft, in the quality of our ingredients and the service we give.

Vasyl had dreamed of opening a bistro since he was young. Artem — a celebrated chef and restaurateur in Ukraine — longed to carry his craft to the United States. He found himself captivated by North Carolina, its climate, its abundance, and the long, generous seasons of its farms and orchards. Together we built both dreams into one.

Every plate begins with kalyna — the viburnum berry that means home. We set the table like family is coming, because at Vira, you are.
